Introduction & Scope

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which OVELOVIA ("we", "us", "our") may issue refunds for paid services. It applies to all paid engagements with OVELOVIA, including fixed-scope projects (such as web development, design, mobile app development) and recurring monthly retainers (such as SEO, digital marketing, content and link building).

This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions. Where any specific proposal, statement of work or signed contract contains different refund terms, the terms of that document take precedence over this policy.

Refund Window (Before Work Begins)

If you change your mind before any work has commenced on your project, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of making your initial payment. To qualify:

• The project kick-off meeting must not have taken place.
• No discovery, research, design, development, content or other deliverable work must have started.
• You must request the refund in writing to info@OVELOVIA.com within the 7-day window.

If these conditions are met, we will refund 100% of the amount paid, less any non-refundable transaction fees charged by the payment processor (typically 2–3%).

Fixed-Scope Projects (Milestone-Based)

Once work has commenced on a fixed-scope project, refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis tied to delivered milestones. Specifically:

• Completed milestones - non-refundable, as work has been delivered and accepted.
• Milestones in progress - refunded pro-rata, less the value of work already performed.
• Unstarted milestones - fully refundable.

"Milestone" here refers to a discrete deliverable defined in your proposal or statement of work (for example: discovery, design mockups, development sprint 1, sprint 2, launch).

What "Work Commenced" Means

• The project kick-off meeting has taken place.
• Discovery, research, wireframing, design, development or content production has started.
• Internal resources (designers, developers, project managers) have been allocated to the project.
• Third-party tools, plugins, themes or assets have been purchased on your behalf.

Monthly Retainers (SEO, Marketing, Content)

Recurring monthly services such as SEO, digital marketing, content writing, link building, social media management and similar engagements operate on a month-to-month or fixed-term basis as set out in your contract.

• Cancellation notice - you may cancel any monthly retainer with 30 days’ written notice to info@OVELOVIA.com.
• Current month - the fee for the current service month is non-refundable. Work continues for the remainder of the month, and final reports/deliverables are provided.
• Future months - no further charges will apply once the notice period is complete.
• Mid-cycle refunds - partial-month refunds are not provided unless explicitly agreed in writing.

SEO and digital marketing results compound over time, and meaningful outcomes typically take 3–6 months. We strongly recommend giving any campaign sufficient runway before evaluating performance.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances, except where required by applicable law:

• Setup fees and onboarding charges - these cover the initial work of configuring your project, account access, tools and team allocation.
• Deposits - project deposits become non-refundable once work commences.
• Third-party costs - any costs we have already paid to third parties on your behalf (domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, themes, stock assets, ad spend, software licences, etc.).
• Custom development & bespoke design work already delivered and approved.
• Ad spend & media budget - once spent on platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.), these funds are not retrievable from those platforms and cannot be refunded by us.
• Completed deliverables that have been delivered for review, even if not yet finally signed off.
• Payment processor fees - transaction fees charged by Stripe, Razorpay, banks or similar may be deducted from any refund.

Free SEO Tools

Our free SEO tools (DA/PA Checker, Backlink Checker, Spam Score Checker, Keyword Rank Checker and others) are provided at no cost. As no payment is involved, no refunds are applicable.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please send an email to info@OVELOVIA.com with the following information:

• Your full name and company name.
• The email address used at the time of payment.
• The invoice number or transaction ID.
• The date of payment and amount paid.
• The reason for your refund request.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 7 business days. If we need additional information to process your request, the timeline may be extended accordingly.

Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

• Refunds are processed via the original payment method used.
• Refunds typically reach your account within 14 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or payment processor.
• For international wire transfers, the processing time may be longer and may incur intermediary bank fees, which are deducted from the refund amount.
• Currency conversion: where the original payment was made in a different currency, the refund will be issued in the original currency. Currency exchange fluctuations are not our responsibility.

Disputes & Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us first at info@OVELOVIA.com before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card issuer. The vast majority of issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication.

Initiating a chargeback or dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:

• Suspension or termination of services.
• Legal action to recover the disputed amount, plus any chargeback fees we incur.
• Forfeiture of any work delivered or in progress.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The version of the policy in force at the time of your engagement applies to that engagement.
