"We," "us," "our" = TEQTOP.
This policy covers fixed-scope projects (web development, design, mobile apps) and monthly retainers (SEO, marketing, content, link building). Your signed contract or statement of work overrides this policy where the two conflict. Also see our Terms & Conditions.
Refund window: before work begins
Full refund within 7 calendar days of payment, if all of the following are true:
- Kick-off meeting hasn't happened
- No discovery, design, development, or content work has started
- Request sent in writing to [email protected] within the 7 days
Refund = 100% minus the 2 to 3% payment processor fee.
Fixed-scope projects: milestone-based refunds
After the 7-day window, refunds are tied to milestone status:

Milestone = any deliverable defined in your proposal or SOW (discovery, mockups, a sprint, launch).
Work counts as started once: kick-off has happened, discovery/design/dev/content is underway, team is allocated, or we've purchased third-party tools/assets on your behalf.
Monthly retainers
Recurring monthly services such as SEO, digital marketing, content writing, link building, social media management and similar engagements operate on a month-to-month or fixed-term basis as set out in your contract.
- Cancel with 30 days' written notice to [email protected].
- Current month: non-refundable, work continues through it
- Future months: stop once notice period ends
- Mid-month refunds: only if agreed in writing
Note: SEO/marketing results typically take 3 to 6 months to show. Factor that into cancellation timing.
Non-refundable
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances, except where required by applicable law:
- Setup and onboarding fees
- Deposits, once work commences
- Third-party costs paid on your behalf (domains, hosting, plugins, assets, ad spend, licences)
- Custom dev/design already delivered and approved
- Ad spend once live on-platform
- Deliverables sent for review, even pre-signoff
- Payment processor fees
Exceptions apply only where required by law.
Free SEO tools
No payment, no refund. Applies to DA/PA checker, backlink checker, spam score checker, keyword rank tracker.
Requesting a refund
Email [email protected] with: name, company, payment email, invoice/transaction ID, payment date and amount, reason.
Response time: acknowledged within 2 business days, decision within 7.
Processing
- Refunded to original payment method
- Typically 14 business days, bank-dependent
- International wires: may take longer, intermediary fees deducted
- Refunded in original payment currency; exchange rate risk not covered
Disputes and chargebacks
Contact us before filing a chargeback. Filing without contact first may result in: service suspension, pursuit of the disputed amount plus chargeback fees, forfeiture of delivered/in-progress work.
Changes to this policy
Material changes update the "Last updated" date. The version in force at the time of your engagement applies to that engagement.
